Our collection crew keeps rejecting bins, anyone know why?
We have had two pickups skipped in the last month and I cannot get a straight answer from anyone about why. The waste wheelie bins are the same ones we have used for two years, nothing has changed as far as I can tell. The crew just drives past, sometimes they leave a note we cannot read, and then I am stuck with overflowing bins for another week. I called the building management and they said talk to the collection company, the collection company said talk to the building, and round and round we go. My suspicion is one of the wheels is broken so it does not roll properly onto the truck lift, but they never told us that directly. Has anyone dealt with this kind of silent rejection before and how did you actually get it resolved. Also do these companies expect you to replace the bin the moment something breaks, because nothing is cheap. Would appreciate any tips on how to get a proper answer out of them.
